Position Summary

Design and document database architecture

Build database scheme, tables, stored procedures and views
Install, configure, and update MySQL on servers
Set-up and maintain replication
Analyze and maintain performance requirements
Monitor database systems
Provide 24/7 support for critical situations
Evaluate and recommend new database technologies
Education and Experience
- Knowledge of database design standards
- 1+ years experience with MySQL 5.x or certification required including stored procedure programming
- Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems preferred
- SQL Server 2008 knowledge is a plus but not required

Product Marketing Manager
Position Summary
-
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, managing and communicating the value proposition to our customers and to the industry. The Product Marketing Manager acts as product champion in providing cross-department coordination, positioning and sales enablement tools.
Essential Functions
- Work with the business analysts for education and understanding of the market and customer base for the products and services. This includes market trends, product needs and competitive offerings for key markets.
- Create product collaterals, data sheets, white papers and other materials that accurately and clearly articulate unique solutions proposition.
- Develop strategy and execution plan for the creation and delivery of sales tools including product demos and presentations.
- Provide content for corporate and marketing communications efforts including marketing campaigns, shows and events, the website and PR/IR.
- Support sales team with written materials about products and markets, key messages and positioning.
- Plan and implement strategies for program launches and promotion, including developing program specific marketing collateral, presentations and sales materials.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Marketing experience in a technology environment preferred.
- Knowledge of motor carrier transportation and/or supply chain industry a plus.
- Three to Five years work experience in B2B Marketing.
- Experience with Web applications, social media, content management and HTML a plus.
- Excellent business writing skills and the ability to apply analytical research to marketing projects.
- Enthusiastic team player able to work collaboratively with other areas of the company; executive, business development, sales and technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively and creatively with copy writers, designers, graphics artists, Web designers, printers, video production, photographers and others to deliver leading marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills, an eye for details and the ability to be flexible and excel in a role with multiple projects, multiple decision makers and shifting priorities.
- Ability to succeed under deadline pressure and be available to work extra hours if needed on projects and assignments.
