Building on its successful family of LTL rating products, SMC³ will showcase their newest developer and Intranet tool, iRater. iRater is a unique Intranet rating system, that runs on a Windows NT server employing an Internet Information Server (IIS) and interfaces a user-designed web page with SMC³ Data Modules. The iRater program combines a Common Gateway Interface (CGI) program, Data Modules, and user templates then installs them on an a client’s Intranet server, allowing rates to be obtained on a single origin destination from a client web browser. In addition to enabling multiple users to access this rating information simultaneously, iRater facilitates a global exchange of information that enables a true "24/7/365" organizational productivity.
