
SMC³ Unveils New Rating System for LTL Shipments To and From Mexico
Details of New Product Line to be Announced at D/C Expo Press Conference
Peachtree City, GA - May 1, 2003 - SMC³, the leading provider of Technology Tools for Transportation®, today announced that it will unveil its new rating system for LTL shipments to and from Mexico at a special Distribution/Computer Expo press conference, 1-1:30pm on Thursday, May 22 at Navy Pier in Chicago.
“SMC³’s CzarLite™ is well-established as a sophisticated LTL pricing system containing base rates that can be used for shipments traveling throughout the U.S., and between the U.S. and Canada,” said Danny Slaton, vice president of sales and marketing for SMC³. “Now, the same pricing system used to establish CzarLite for the U.S. and Canada market is available for Mexico.”
Mr. Slaton will speak to members of the press about the new product line SMC³ has developed to handle pricing for shipments between the U.S. and Mexico, and Canada and Mexico. He will also detail how the Mexican rating system was developed.
