New Sales Hires Reflect Company’s Commitment to Enhancing Carrier-Shipper Collaboration with Intelligent Pricing Technology

Atlanta, Ga. - December 15, 2008—SMC³, a provider of transportation data services, technology tools and educational forums, announced today that Jeremy Estep and Jeff Royster have joined the company’s Sales team at its Atlanta headquarters. The two new account executives will support the SMC³ mission to consistently raise the level of knowledge, collaboration and technological capability in the freight transportation marketplace.
Estep joins SMC³ from TransCore, where he specialized in selling transportation management solutions for truckload and rail applications. His background also includes 6 years as a district sales manager with DHL Worldwide. At SMC³, Estep will be focused on the company’s business relationships with third party logistics service providers (3PLs) and transportation industry consultants.

Royster brings nearly 30 years of transportation and logistics experience to SMC³. His transportation career began with McLean Trucking Company in operations management and sales, and continued with Consolidated Freightways in various sales and management capacities. Transitioning to logistics applications, Royster held senior-level sales positions with Exel Logistics, Eagle Global Logistics and Stonepath Logistics. His most recent position was vice president of Business Development for Team One Logistics.
