TONY ALBA

Tony Alba is manager of cargo claims and loss prevention for Wilson Trucking Corporation in Fishersville, Virginia. He has more than five years of experience in the transportation industry, including various roles in distribution and inventory control with Hilti Fastening Systems and Verio Communications. Tony majored in distribution and materials management at Gwinnett Technical Institute in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

BOB BEAUBOUEF

Bob Beaubouef is director of customer service for AAA Cooper Transportation. He is a Vietnam veteran and has been in the transportation industry since 1972. He began his career at AAA Cooper Transportation as an account manager in New Orleans, and has also worked as sales manager and terminal manager. In 1993 he transferred to the General Office in Dothan, Alabama as quality control manager and was later promoted to field sales administrative manager. Beaubouef has held his current position since 2005.

KEVIN BRANCH

Kevin Branch is a partner with the law firm of Dennis, Corry, Porter & Smith, LLP where he represents motor carriers, transportation intermediaries and insurance companies. He specializes in catastrophic casualty cases, cargo losses and insurance coverage issues relating to both casualty and cargo claims. Branch is an active member of both the North Carolina State Bar and the State Bar of Georgia and is a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association, Transportation Lawyers Association, Conference of Freight Counsel and the Georgia Motor Trucking Association.

KRISTI HEBERT

Kristi Hebert is claims manager for Saia, Inc. in Houma, Louisiana. Her responsibilities include managing Saia's claims support staff, claims processes and freight claim resolution. Hebert works with Saia's customers and employees to eliminate the causes of freight loss and damage. She is also heavily involved in Saia's claims mitigation, subrogation and alternative resolution activities.

HY HILLENBRAND

Hy Hillenbrand is managing partner of DeOrchis, Hillenbrand & O'Brien, LLP. He has represented transportation companies throughout the United States for over 40 years, winning many landmark decisions during those years. Hillenbrand has written three books on transportation liability issues, and is a frequent speaker at transportation meetings covering numerous transportation law topics.

ROBERT LEBLANC

Robert LeBlanc has more than 20 years experience in the transportation industry, with the majority of that time spent in the claims area. His current role is claims manager with Midland Transport Ltd., where he has been employed since 1985. Prior to working at Midland, he worked in both general accounting and payroll at J.D. Irving, Ltd.

KEVIN MCGARITY

Kevin McGarity is claims/OS&D manager for A. Duie Pyle in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Prior to being appointed to this role in 2004, he was involved in operations for the company. McGarity was previously employed at Red Star Express for nine years, where he was involved in all aspects of nighttime and daytime operations. He started his career in transportation in 1984 with Preston Trucking as an outbound supervisor.

SCOTT MCMICKLE

Scott McMickle is an equity partner in the firm of Dennis, Corry, Porter, & Smith LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. His practice specializes in civil tort, contract and civil litigation. McMickle frequently represents motor carriers in litigation relating to personal injury, cargo and insurance coverage issues throughout the country. He is a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association, the Transportation Law Institute, and the Association of Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy.

ED MCQUEEN

Ed McQueen is director of loss prevention for Southeastern Freight Lines in Lexington, South Carolina. He began his 10-year career with Southeastern in claims and additionally worked in pricing. Following a period of continuing education and a three-year hiatus in a related industry, he returned in to Southeastern as a member of the claims family in 2003.

ROB MOSELEY

Robert Moseley is chairman of the Transportation Practice Group of Smith, Moore & Leatherwood LLP where he represents trucking companies and their carriers in cases of commercial transportation accidents and commercial insurance disputes. Moseley is a member of the Safety & Loss Prevention Management Council of the American Trucking Association, the National Truck & Heavy Equipment Claims Council and the Association for Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy.

MALISA OSBORN

Malisa Osborn is a specialist in OS&D for Southeastern Freight Lines at their Atlanta service center. During her 12 years with Southeastern she has held a variety of responsibilities at both the North Atlanta and Charleston service centers. She enjoys challenging opportunities and working to satisfy SEFL customers as well as traveling for the company to train other Southeastern associates in OS&D.

MARTHA PAYNE

Martha Payne is of counsel in the Litigation Practice Group of Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP, where she represents and assists transportation and logistics service providers on a wide variety of transportation issues. Payne has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating domestic and international transportation, logistics, and supply chain management contracts.

JEFFREY SIMMONS

Jeffrey Simmons is a shareholder with Ryley Carlock & Applewhite, practicing in the areas of transportation and commercial litigation. Simmons represents motor, rail and air carriers, as well as brokers and intermediaries. He specializes in freight loss and damage claims, and represents carriers in truck accident litigation. He is a past-chairman of the Conference of Freight Counsel and an active member of the Transportation Lawyers Association.
